1Service description

BiKuBe provides a local delivery coordination service for large and bulky items in the Narvik and Ballangen area of Norway. The service operates on a manual quote basis only. No instant booking, automatic pricing or guaranteed delivery time is offered in the V1 pilot period.

2How the service works

  • You submit a delivery request with item description, addresses and access details.
  • BiKuBe reviews the request and prepares a manual quote based on size, weight, stairs, helpers and vehicle requirements.
  • You receive a quote and must accept it before any payment reservation occurs.
  • After accepting the quote, you reserve payment by card. Your card is authorised but not charged at this point.
  • A worker is assigned only after payment reservation is confirmed.
  • After delivery, you confirm or dispute the completion. Payment is captured only after owner approval — not automatically.

3Pilot area and limitations

  • This pilot operates in Narvik and Ballangen only.
  • No same-day delivery is guaranteed. Time estimates are confirmed by dispatcher before dispatch.
  • No real-time GPS tracking is available in this pilot.
  • Heavy or oversized items require manual approval. BiKuBe may decline requests that exceed safe handling capacity.

4Prohibited goods

BiKuBe does not accept requests for the following:

  • Alcohol or tobacco
  • Medicine, prescriptions or pharmacy goods
  • Weapons, ammunition or restricted goods
  • Fuel, gas, hazardous chemicals or flammables
  • Fireworks or explosives
  • Live animals
  • Cash, banking instruments or valuables
  • Passenger transport
  • Tow or vehicle recovery
  • Medical or personal care services
  • Any illegal goods or services

Requests involving prohibited goods will be declined without refund of reservation.

5Pricing and payment

  • All prices are provided by manual quote only. No automatic pricing applies.
  • The quote total is confirmed before any payment reservation.
  • Payment is processed via Stripe. Card details are not stored by BiKuBe.
  • Payment reservation is an authorisation only. Your card is not charged until delivery is confirmed and owner approves capture.

NEEDS OWNER/ACCOUNTANT VERIFY: MVA/VAT applicability, invoicing rules.

6Cancellation and refund

NEEDS OWNER/LEGAL VERIFY: Cancellation and refund policy must be reviewed against Norwegian consumer law (Forbrukerkjøpsloven) and distance selling rules before public launch.

Current pilot position:

  • If you cancel before dispatch, your payment reservation hold is released (no charge). Timeline is subject to owner decision and Stripe processing.
  • If delivery fails due to BiKuBe error, refund or reschedule will be offered. Timeline subject to owner decision.
  • If you dispute a completed delivery, a support ticket is created and the owner reviews before any payment capture or refund.

7Damage and liability

NEEDS INSURANCE VERIFY: Goods-in-transit insurance and liability limits must be verified with a Norwegian insurance broker before public launch.

Current pilot position: BiKuBe workers are instructed to handle items carefully and document the condition at pickup. Damage claims must be reported at delivery and supported by evidence.

8Customer obligations

  • You must provide accurate pickup and drop-off addresses.
  • You must be present at pickup or arrange access.
  • You must describe the item accurately including weight, dimensions and fragile/disassembly requirements.
  • You must not include prohibited goods in any request.
  • False or inaccurate information may result in order cancellation without refund of any processing costs.

9Platform use / service agreement

BiKuBe gives the customer a limited, non-exclusive right to use the platform to request local services, review quotes, reserve payment and communicate about an order. This is not a software licence for resale, copying or commercial reuse of BiKuBe systems, design, content or code.

The customer may not misuse the platform, submit false requests, attempt to access other customers' orders, bypass payment flows, scrape private data, or use BiKuBe to coordinate prohibited goods or services.

BiKuBe may block, cancel or manually review requests that appear unsafe, fraudulent, incomplete, outside pilot area, or outside V1 scope.

10What must be approved before first real customer

  • Verified legal entity name, organisation number and registered address
  • Norwegian lawyer review of Terms and Privacy Policy
  • Accountant/MVA review
  • Transport and goods-in-transit insurance review
  • Final cancellation/refund policy
  • Worker agreement and insurance/liability verification
